Dreams (AAU Collab Summer 2020)

I was the 3D Project Lead for this AAU collab project with a team of modeling/texture artists. We took a narrative created by the design team and corresponding level blockouts to produce this level over a period of six weeks. This game is a very early Alpha build of the very first level which takes place in a run-down detective office.

As the 3D Lead I was responsible for the following:
- Planned project progress and assigned tasks through Trello
- Communicated consistently with the 3D art team and the design team.
- Performed two critiques a week on all 3D work to ensure quality control
- Ensured the art style remained consistent throughout the semester through direct feedback and guidance
- Created naming convention guidelines
- Monitored, maintained, and uploaded the live Unreal project in Perforce
- Performed live demos when questions came up from team members
- Made modeling adjustments to the modular kit and other models when necessary
- Rebuilt the level in Unreal Engine
- Performed all prop staging throughout the level
- Lit the scene
- Imported meshes/textures and created materials in Unreal Engine
- Created collision and lightmap UVs for turned in models
- Modeled and textured the floor lamp
- Textured the filing cabinet (Model by Michael Vonrydingsvar)
- Textured tiling wood floor
